As the holiday season quickly approaches and 2022 comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to wish you a very happy holidays.
It’s been an exceptionally busy and rewarding year for me and my family. I am so grateful for the support that I received during the election and in the brief time I’ve been in the Mayor’s role.
Being the Mayor of Saanich is a truly awesome responsibility and getting the chance to do this job is a great joy for me.
A highlight for me has been the chance to meet so many of the great people who work for Saanich. These are the folks who keep services and programs running, and the people who ensure waste is collected, the roads are clear, and the water is flowing.
I am excited about working with you all to tackle the challenges in front of us and am truly honoured to be on this journey.
I am looking forward to spending some quiet time with my family before the New Year arrives. I hope your holidays are filled with moments of joy and time with family and friends in whatever way you like to celebrate.
